What is the design process like?

It starts with a conversation about what you love visually: Is there a design direction or theme you have in mind? Are there inspirations that you would like to incorporate into the cake design? For example, the invitations, color palette, floral design, a piece of art, fashion or the feel of the location can all be folded into the cake design story. We hope the galleries on this site can serve as both an example of our work and a jumping off point to inspire design ideas. Finally, we’ll create a sketch to bring the ideas to life.

How does our pricing work?

Each custom cake is unique and pricing is based on several factors: the size of the cake, intricacy and amount of details and design components, which all effects the number of hours it will take to create. A general ballpark price range is $10 to $20 per serving with a separate delivery fee. Our minimum order is $800.

How far in advance should I order?

It’s best to book a minimum of 4 to 6 weeks in advance if possible. That said, depending on the season and our availability we can sometimes book closer to the date of the event.

What flavors do you offer?

There is no fixed flavor list, we like to always start by asking you what flavors you love most. Here are a few of the tried &  true flavors we love:

CAKES: delicious chocolate, vanilla crunch, red velvet, lemony zest cake, tiramisu, bursts of blackberry buttermilk cake and hummingbird. BUTTERCREAM FILLINGS: vanilla bean, passionfruit, Mexican hot chocolate, spiked bourbon brown-sugar, lemon, mango, mocha, caramel cream, hazelnut, cookies & cream, espresso coffee cream, hibiscus and chocolate. GANACHES AND ADD-ONS: dark chocolate, liqueurs, berries, candied citrus, sea-salted toffee, cookie crunch and ginger crunch.
